(short-wave)! It has a remote control (never used),
multi-customizable EQ, numerous memories, and the ability to control
optional Sony CD players. The faceplate is detachable and comes with
a hard case. Shortwave frequency coverage is 2.940 to 7.735, 9.500 to
10.140, and 11.575 to 18.135. This unit rocks and sounds great, and
SW reception is remarkably good. Easily listen to world band
broadcasts while driving down the road. I bought it new from Jacky's
and used it in my Nissan Pathfinder, but it won't go into my new
vehicle.
