G3JVL's 5/8 6m Vertical antenna
Hello,
Has everyone build this antenna? http://www.uksmg.org/content/vertical.htm I need more information about base coil (turns spacing etc.) I am about to modify an old CB antenna to 50mhz 5/8. Any other information about a 6m 5/8 matching section is wellcome. 73s SV2BFI |

Kosmas,
The given diagram shows the number of turns and diameter of the matching coil. I'm not sure that the exact spacing is going to make a huge difference. And as long as it's at least 'close' to what's shown, should take no more than the 'normal' amount of tuning. Good luck. - 'Doc |
