Being of Scot-Irish descent, I will admit that there are enough drunks in my
family tree. I enjoy a tipple or two now and then, myself, but when it takes 4
months to kill off a twelve pack of beer, and that's with help (I don't drink
much, so I'm stingy with what I do buy. I still will offer a friend a beer on
occassion) Coffee is my narcotic of choice.

Well, since you've admited earlier (via graduation date) that you're an old fart,
I'm still a few years behind ya. I was 20 when I got married 32 years ago. I felt
I had to sink down to your level. I hit 50 over 2 years ago, and it hit back
harder. I guess all those years of hard work (it sure wasn't partying) finally
caught up to me. I miss working, but I'm either over-qualified for what's
available, or unsuited for the position due to health reasons.

I may have to grow old, but I am not required to grow up. This has helped me in
several career choices I've made over the years.
