Default JJY 40KHz is off the air .

Apparently it was in the exclusion zone and had to be abandoned . (As
per Andy Sennitt , RNW).

There is another JJY transmitter (at a familiar 60KHz) in another part
of the country . Time is immaterial (for now) in lieu of the clear and
present danger from the Fukushima reactors . . .
