USA doesn't have "domestic" SW broadcasting. All of these guys have
submitted applications indicating specific ITU target zones and "just so
happen" to be heard in the US.
Of course, all that aside, money talks.

True, however the only people who made money were the
FCC when they took their fee for a licence application.
Most of these shortwave "patriots" and religious nutcakes
don't have a pot to **** in or a window to throw it out
of, or if they do, they try to get by with paying the bare
minimum, late payments or "charity", while the funds are
kept in the bank for a select-few, while they shear the flock
for every dime they can get out of them. Bro. Stair is a prime
example of this principle in action.

Yep, your right there. None of them are registered to broadcast to ITU zones
6, 7, 8.

I will have to reword my next post to something like "International
Shortwave Broadcasters located in USA".

Anyway...I think my post helps sift the wheat from the chaff.

Well thats what the ILGRADIO database does, plus it gives times, locations,
etc, and a whole lot more.
I was simply creating something for those who already have the database.

...... and just might wonder who runs these stations and what to expect when
tuning in.

BTW...the FCC data apears to be outdated, but still very cool.

Check it out.....

Hello Mike. An interesting list with
curious links to the FCC databases.
One problem however is that the FCC links
provide NO FREQUENCY as to where
to tune! Sure, we can look up the callsigns
on google, however it would be nice if the
FCC provided frequency data at the links.

(It's sorta like getting a Big Mac
at McDonalds Drive thru and they
*forgot* to insert the beef patties between
the breadbuns !)

Technically that's true, but most of the programming is intended for a
Stateside audience. At least as far back to around 1970 or so, with WINB
and WNYW. Has anyone ever tried to prevent a SW broadcaster from
broadcasting to a US audience?

Were there any restrictions before WW2?

One US broadcaster that actually did broadcast to an international audience
was KGEI. They were almost entirely in Spanish, as I recall.

I dont think the true Christians pose any threat. Its the counterfits that
are a problem.
My post is to help people know which is which.
I have decided to divide my future postings into two groups as I figure
these stations out.

I agree. But the counterfits have the publicity, power and money. In this
world, that's worth more than life itself :-(

At the risk of starting a flamewar, most of my family is Christian and
they do their darndest to follow the REAL techings, which do not include
secularism, hatemongering, judgementalism, unnatural pursuit of money and
political involvement.
