Default Elecraft Shortwave Radios

One of the Elecraft radios will receive shortwave. It is the model
KX-1. It is an ultraportable small design, and receives rave reviews
(as a ham tranceiver) from all who have built it. If you get the 30
meter option, it will cover the main shortwave BC frequencies from
about 5 MHz to 15 MHz if memory serves correctly. Be aware that it
will need to receive the SW broadcast using USB or LSB detection with
the carrier zerobeat. Cost would be in the range of $350.
