I recently acquired a Hallicrafters S-39 Sky Ranger receiver at a local
hamfest. Its in as-new condition, which is why I decided to get it. I recall I once had either the earlier version of this one or maybe it was another S-39, I don't recall. My question is, looking at this rig, and considering the form/fit/function of Echophone rigs, did perhaps Echophone manufacture these particular Hallicrafters receivers? I recall there was some sort of co-production and/or cooperation between these two companies. Thanks de K3HVG |
