I was back and forth (when I was in the U.S.Army in Illinois
[[Illynoys]] and Missouri,MO) in 1963.ARADCOM,Army Air Defense
Command,we had Nuke Warheads on them Missiles) between Scott Air Force
Base,Illynoys and SL 60 near Pacific,MO.I wasen't issued a Secret
Clearance thingy/card.(some thingys I will not tell, even to this day)
Now,,, How did I wind up in that outfit,y'all ask? I had a girlfriend
who lived in Kirkwood,Missouri and when (Kirkwood is a Southwest suburb
of St.Louis, right on down South on Big Bend Blvd)

When I Joined the U.S.Army in October 1962,I told the recuiting Seargent
(Seargent White) at the U.S.Army Recruting Office that used to be on
Capitol Street in beautifull down town Jackson,,,,, I want to be in the
St.Louis area.I remember the day I finished boot camp at Fort
Gordon,Georgia, some of them guys said,You are going to Scott Air Force
Base,Illinois?
Scott Air Force Base is only about twenty four miles East of beautifull
St.Louis.
