Default Motorola RIB repair

Have you checked the mic connector for corrosion?

Does anyone have a good source for repairing an original equipment
Motorola RIB box? I keep getting error #7 with it despite the
computer I am using. I am using older 486 PC's running dos only and
this has worked on them before. Any help would be appreciated.
