Ameritron AL-80B w New Tube

I am selling my other backup amplifier, an Ameritron AL-80B. It is
cosmetically fair, including a "Frankenstein" fuse holder (it didnt fit the
cabinet, so its just wired in place), but works very well. I have a brand
new RF Concepts tube in it, and it puts out 800 Watts from a 110 Volt
supply. If you wire it for 240 V, you should get the full 1 kW output
easily. The lamps work, and are the old incandescent 12 V types. You can
put in white LEDs for a nicer effect.

Hi All,



I have a used Palstar PM2000A wattmeter for sale. It doesnt come with a
12VDC barrel power cable or original packaging. However, it is is very good
condition, with no scratches on case or meter. All works as it should and
display lights up with power.

I am selling my Acom 1000 amplifier with extra (untested) 4CX800A tube. The
amp puts out 1 kW comfortably from 160 through 6 Meters, and is wired for
240 Volts (NEMA 6-20 plug is on it now). The amp is in very nice cosmetic
shape (one or two small nicks or chips) and works like new. I bought the
amp used earlier this year while waiting for an automatic amplifier to
become available (I mostly do contesting), so Im selling the Acom. Ive used
it frequently, including for contests, and...

Has Collins mechanical 500Hz CW and 2300Hz SSB filters and a Chinese
knockoff TCXO-9. My web research indicates the knockoff TCXO-9 compares
favorably in performance to the Yaesu factory TCXO-9. Previous owner used
mobile bracket so there are some scratches/scuffs in the paint of the body
where the bracket mounts (see photo for worst side). Control head looks
very nice. Does not have any missing lines in display (see photo).

I have a compact made in Switzerland vacuum tuning capacitor "Comet" .

Part number: CV05C-500RL/5;

Tuning range: 5 - 570 pF;

RF voltage: 5 kV;

This capacitor was tested with high pot 5 kV DC;

Capacitor is in good working condition.

Im not using this capacitor and offer to any HAM who is interested.

I have recently inherited an LV Programmer (40 pin type) but no software!
- its driven from the PC printer port so it could even be a DOS application
on FDs If anybody has or knows where I might be able to get a copy,
(Happy to buy through eBay if required. Its so well made made It seems a
pity to discard it, Id like to make an extra set of Proms for the RACAL
1792 and possibly modify its operation. 73

Non-Smoking Shack



Condition 100% Electrically/Mechanically, Almost like New inside and out .



No signs of Arcing, Visually a 9.8 of 10 only a few very small paint
blemishes. Some minor wear in the silk-screening near 1 of the Band
switches. NO dents or dings. The meters are still nice and White with Ice
Blue LED Bulbs. Never used on the 160 m Band
