HT-600 DTMF programming

Can someone tell me how to program dtmf tones on the Motorola HT-600â„¢
radio... i think its the same on the MT-1000â„¢ also.

It can store 9 locations... has to be done using the small button above the "1"
but, i dont know how its done.
