Default What has happened to this newsgroup? Looks like a CHAT and FLAME Room.?

What ever happened to the time where you could list a radio on this news
group without someone bitching, moaning, pricing your radio, or saying that
you could have got it cheaper last year at Dayton. My suggestion is that if
you do not want to buy a radio at the price that is listed on the posting to
this news group, most of would like you to PLEASE, either make a counter
offer or trade, or just move on to the next listing.
Looks like the FLAMERS are just taking up band-width. :-)
If these FLAMERS were serious about giving you information, they would email
you personally, not put it on the swap net. That just shows you that all
they want to do is talk to hear their voice, or in this case, type to see
their message and see what kind of response they get to it.

" IT IS BETTER TO BE SILENT AND BE THOUGHT A FOOL, THAN TO SPEAK (OR TYPE
YOUR MESSAGE) AND REMOVE ALL DOUBT."

I do not want to start a thread to this posting, but I am sure that the
people who chastise posters on this news group will have something to say.
That will just identify everyone on this news group to whom you are.
LET THE IDENTIFICATION BEGIN!

PS: I am only talking about .1% of the people on this news group. The other
99% are Great People that I love to deal with. True Hams in the meaning of
the Hobby.
I will get off my soapbox now.
HAPPY HAMMIN' TO EVERYONE !!!
As Bingo says, " I love this Ham Radio Stuff!"

Thanks

Filters and a little "selective reading" helps eliminate the problem.
