Default FS:Attention Collins Collectors

Up for the best bid!
What I think I have from what I can make out from a photo I saw, is a
Collins commercial transmitter type 32RA transmitter made for police
networks, and emergency communications. The unit is pre-WWII or around
1939. Excellent original condition.

Transmitter used three 807 tubes in the final. Power output was 50
watts radio telephone and 75 watts radiotelegraph on four frequencies
using crystal controlled. There were several variations of the design
to be used for mobile operation using a dynamotor.

I'm not sure who would appreciate this, but I'm going to be selling it
for I don't have the room around here. Any one interested in buying it
for the market value, feel free to drop me a line.

Best regards

Hi Ken, If you do not have a manual for the 32RA you can download one from
the Collins Collectors Association website www.collinsradio.org
