Disagree. There's a huge active collectors demand for old Heathkit stuff.
Heathkit weather stations are fairly rare... especially so considering the
ID-4001. If it was complete with box and documentation, probably worth $300
or more via Ebay. You could probably get $100 plus just for the computer
alone.

Doubt you'll find any sensors or gauges for it and if you do they ain't
gonna be cheap...
