I have for sale a Kenwood TS-930SAT. It is in nice cosmetic condition. It
has a few small scratches and dings, but looks very good. It works. However, it does have some problems. When first turned on, everything works great. Full output, ALC works as it should, digital readout is clear. Receiver sounds great. However, when it warms up for 10 or 15 minutes, the digits on the frequency readout stay clear and bright, but all of the other information on the readout,e.g., indicators for VFO A or B, RIT, etc. fade out. Also, the ALC goes wild, pegging the ALC meter in transmit and cutting back the power. I have to turn the mic gain up high to get power out. Otherwise it continues to work fine. I am selling it as a fixer upper for $375. I will make a good transceiver for someone with some technical skills. Thanks, Charlie Hugg, K5MBX -- ________________________________ See my Collins, Signal/One & Drake Photo Galleries and Hallicrafters Virtual Museum at: http://hug-a-bug.com |
