Default REQUEST: Jean Shepherd old radio Christmas Story

REQUEST: Jean Shepherd old radio Christmas Story.
Jean Shepherd did 4 radio programs that eventually became the basis for the movie
"A Christmas Story". Does anyone have them? It would be a real treat to be able to
hear them again. One was about the Red Ryder BB gun, and one was about getting
back at the local bully.

the story is also in his books "In GOD We Trust, All Others Pay Cash", and
"Wanda Hickey's Night Of Golden Memories (and other disasters)"
I don't remember which one its in, but between the 2, its some great
reading. I have been looking for a short story he did for Playboy years ago
called "The drive in confessional". I don't believe its in his third book
"Ferrari In The Bedroom"

He was great, I used to listen to him with a crystal radio from my house
in NJ when he was on WOR, terrific storyteller.

It was his ham radio stories on WOR that got me going. A phantom Elmer
to be sure.
