is an SMT Engineer assistant at Lockheed where I work. He did 3 FT-100D
radios for me and is really awesome when it comes to putting them back
together just as they came apart. (wire routing that is).

Out of curiosity, what is the charge for having an FT-100 mod done?

He charged me 30 bucks each and that was installing the AM filter as
well which requires a bunch of work. The best part about Gary is he is
very accurate about returning the radio back to its exact wire routing
which with the FT-100 and FT-100D is critical.
