I have a few Astro Sabers (U) and one XTS3k with full keypad (III's), but
will only program as type II's. Did hack with Astro lab software (old), got
DTMF to work, but now Astro decode does not work as well as the Sabers I
didn't hack.

Sabers are Rev 7.08.00, DSP 8.02.02, 1 MEG,
Flash 100001-000000-7

Model is H04SDF9PW7AN. I know for a fact that this radio was not changed
from a type II to a type III. In he service mode (CH Test), the DTMF
buttons do activate.

I really need the keypad for HAM, any suggestions appreciated..
