Is an amateur radio linear ie--SSB-AM mode capable two meter amp, ol' timer
from 60's, 115ac powered & self-contained power supply, I have installed an
internal 12v coaxial T-R relay to accommodate newer solid state rigs, unit
is powered by a 4CX250B tube, produces 325+ watts output with only 3-4 watts
drive required, cosmetically nice for age. I can supply digi pix. Size is
16 x 13 x 9 inches, I have original manual and will supply a spare tube. FM
is not recommneded due it's 100% duty cycle unless run at 1/2 power.
This amp and 12 el's has made SSB-CW 2M Q's from Maine to Texas from WNY
during tropo and E seasons.
Reason for sale--am building an amp at higher power level.
Asking $450. ( maybe shipping help depending buyer location).
A reasonable meet from WNY is possible.
This amp has never given me a problem in 10 years service, even using the
same ol' tube.
