I have a very nice IC-740 for sale. Front panel, all knobs, display and
meter are in perfect aesthetic condition. The top and sides have only a
few very slight scratches and scuffs. Overall, I would rate the IC-740
as excellent to mint condition, with the exception of the aforementioned
minor scratches. Operationally, the rig is perfect with full output on
all bands, and typical excellent IC-740 receiver performance due to its
low-noise PLL design.

The rig comes with the original Instruction Manual and schematic set. I
am the second owner. The Compressor switch was recently replaced (a
typical IC-740 malady), and I also will include a brand new spare
purchased from ICOM. The rig was recently cleaned and aligned, and all
new OEM ICOM screws were used to reinstall the top and bottom covers.

The IC-740 is stock condition, without any optional filters, and without
the "birdy-creating" internal switch-mode power supply. It operates
from 13.8VDC.
