FS: McIntosh C20 PreAmp with Wood Case $ BO

FS: McIntosh C20 PreAmp with Wood Case $ BO

I have a nice C20 preamp I am thinking about putting on Ebay, but
thought someone here might be interested in buying direct.. I have not
fully tested functions but can soon..dial lamps all copme on. All
original knobs, and wood case is in good - very good condition..a few
surface scratches and nicks but nothing major..Could easily be
refinished but I think nice enough to leave alone. I have collected and
restored vintage audio and antqique radios for yrs.. feel free to check
out my excellent Ebay feedback under member 1unc. Please email
if interested and I'll take some pictures..
Entertaining Best Offer, plus actual UPS ground shipping from zip
27517. I pack audio items extremely well to ensure a safe delivery.
Prefer MO or Cashiers Ck, but will accept PayPal if necc.. Thanks!

Best Offer? If you want to sell it, state a selling price. If not, put it on
ebay
or properly label it.

You've restored audio gear for years, but all you can do is assure
that the dial lamps come on?

And, how much is $BO -- approximately?

Learn to READ Bob.. I stated in the ad that I would soon have time to
test functions..and was only assessing interest before listing on Ebay!
Noone appreciates smartass comments.. if you're not intersted in C20,

Where? There is no where in your original post that states that you
were "only assessing interest before listing on Ebay". You clearly
were trying to offer it for sale here, to avoid listing it later on
eBay.

And Bob is correct in that there was no need to send out a teaser
BEFORE testing the unit if you are capable of doing so. Check it out
first, then offer it when you know the answers that people are likely
to ask.

Bob's reply was hardly "smartass", it was a couple of very legitimate
questions to the post you put out. And we still don't have the
answers.

Always be suspicious of those folks who mention that they normally sell on
Ebay, but they're offering an item in the newsgroups. Most Ebay sellers stay
out of the newsgroups with their wares since Ebay sales yield much more
money, but some Ebay sellers will try to "push" 'items in the newsgroups
when they expect selling the item on Ebay will result in problems and
possibly hurt their feedback for one reason or another.

In short... if you're selling on Ebay, there's absolutely no reason to
resort to selling in the newsgroups.
