Default MT1000 Cloning

I have a question about the Motorola MT1000 series of radios: Is it
possible to clone a 16 or 32 channel non display model mt1000 to a 99
channel MT1000 model with the swame UHF high band split using the
partial clone setting and a cloning cable? If it IS possible, does the
proceedure to do so vary from what is commonly described in this group?

Thanks in advance to any/ all who reply!
