Default Question about vehicle repeaters

Motorola makes a pricy vehicular repeater called the Systems 9000. Check
out the "bat labs" website and search Google for Systems 9000 VRS. There
is an informative site. However if yours is a dash mount unit, the
conversion will be quite a hassle. You might check the "Pyramid" site
for their VRS Vehicular Repeater, as it will be easier to interface. I
am not sure if the Pyramid unit has the required sp9600 serial interface
to change channels, but it might.

I have a motorola analog spectra VHF high power modile radio. I am
wondering if it is possible to get a vehicle repeater systems for this
radio. I am wanting to be able to get out of my vehicle with a UHF handheld
and be able to talk back through the repeater and go out over my VHF radio.
I would also like to be able to change the channels from the handheld if
possible. If anyone can help with these please reply.

Thanks Scot
