I have a Very Clean Kenwood TS-940S with an MC-43S hand microphone &
Manual. This TS-940S does suffer from the intermittint bad solded connections this radio is famous for. It will work fine for one or two weeks then the display & recieve will cut out. Then I have to open the radio & fold down face plate to reset all the cable connectors then the radio will work fine for several days untill it cuts out again then I have to repeat the same process over again to make it work, There is a fix for the bad connectors and solder joints but I am just not up to it. When it works it works great but it is being traded AS IS and intrested party to pay shipping since this is a very heay radio. Photos upon request. I am looking to trade for any newer model working HF Radio. Mobile or base. Please mail any questions to Thanks Dave N7DJK |
