What is the easiest way to ship an item overseas. I have a potential buyer
for a radio receiver in Austria and do not the process. Is it just as simple as taking it to UPS or USPS. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mike |

Hi,
I have used The UPS Store and UPS to ship as far away as Australia. If you use the UPS Store to pack the item, they almost can guarantee you a smoother process if there is damage incurred in transit. I can't say enough good things about them, especially because at this moment, an item packed and shipped by them arrived damaged and as far as I can tell, the damage claim was "rubber stamped" as approved and has been resolved. Incidentally, this is the 1st time in 5 years that this particular store has had to file any claims and during the week that I filed, they had 4 other claims filed, so there was a massive problem in the UPS system somewhere. I am NOT an employee of UPS or the UPS Store, so this is a testimonial, I guess. Good Luck!!! |
