Default Give up CB for ham?

I drove an 18 wheeler for a living (28 years) and wouldn't have been caught
dead with out a CB, I've gone through attempted hijackings, wove a tractor
and two trailers through a heard of cows at 70 mph, but the warnings I
received on the radio far out numbered the near hits.
I retired aprox 20 years ago and on the way out the door chunked a log book
and a CB radio in a trash can and haven't had a CB hooked up since. RM~

PS, Actually, I could write a book on the near hits.

I agree, I use a CB in my jeep and it works just great for that job.
The audio quality is more than adequate and the range is decent for a
jeep convoy. Also, they don't cost much and that's worth a lot!! :-)
CB's are ok with me.
