The 31 meter band has been 'alive' all evening here near Boston MA, even as

You aren't kidding - as clear, strong and solid as I've ever heard
in 31m. Even a lot *quieter* than normal. Unfortunately, 60 meters is
still "as usual".

Do you have any problems with interference from the Codar stations on
60-m?
Oh my God, yes. It isn't the only problem down there, but it is the
most annoying one.
Tony
It really annoys me that the FCC has told the Codar people to use
that band because they know SWL's don't have any power to do anything
about it. They wouldn't dare interfere with communications like amateur
radio, military or commercial utility transmissions on other
frequencies/bands.
