Kenwood had an improved 6 Hz filter available right from the start (YK88A1)
and many buyers of the receiver upgraded to this filter at the time of
purchase. My 'stock' (poor) 6KHz am filter still sits in the box that the
good YK88A1 came packaged in. I don't know why I save it as it was awful.
