No. We know the universe isn't really infinite, but it's so
staggeringly gigantic that to anyone other than a mathematician,
"infinite" is the most accurate way to convey the idea of something so
hugely big beyond all human comprehension.

Try imagining a trillion suns, then a trillion groups of a trillion
suns, then a trillion sets of groups each with a trillion groups of a
trillion suns, then....

Close enough to infinite for all practical purposes.
