you think a gang rape esp of a 14 yo is not something to get upset
about.

You mean, the **alleged** rape.
Last I heard, there was no police report of such an event and no victim

had come forward.

From TV reports, it would seem that the "Black community" is pssed off

with the "Asian
community" taking over the area, owning all the shops. As one person

said, "you cannot
find a black person serving in a shop".
Black community, white community, Asian community, Muslim community...
We are no longer a nation of common people, no longer a group of *local*

communities, we
see ourselves as belonging to a specific "community" related to our colour

or religion, and
many see it as a competition between these "communities"... to the point

of it becoming a war.

For years now, we have told certain people that they are victims. Laws

have been made to
protect certain people from the big bad white man. We have given the

impression that we
are all filled with hatred for any non-white or non-Christian, and laws

need to stop us being
so.

An Asian is made aware of the TV camera and allowed to remain anonymous

while he puts
out a message of hate for the British, promising to carry out a suicide

attack before he
reaches 40. On the other hand, BNP members are secretly filmed, named,

shamed,
arrested, their assets are frozen and they are put in court for speaking

in a private
meeting about "****ting" Asians.
The government claim that there are no laws against Muslim extremists

preaching hatred
and violence against the British, they are merely practicing "free

speech". Only when a white
extremist speaks of voilence does it become racism.
But, we all know that you have to be white to be racist.

The latest idea is to blame the anger on poverty. Muslims are said to be

angry because they
are in poverty.
These people need to look around them, plenty of unemployed and low paid

people are white
and non-Muslim. Do employers really refuse to employ Muslims? Do they

pay Muslims less
than they would non-Muslims of white people? Do Muslims or Asians get

less dole money
than white Christians?
NO, No and NO.
They blame this "poverty" on poor education. Do schools turn away Muslims

or non-whites? Do
they teach such people in separate classes? Do they give them lower level

teachers?
NO, NO and NO.
Certain schools and certain areas have been known for years as poverty

stricken and poorly
educated. It's nothing to do with race or religion, but only now do they

even consider it a
problem - because they can use it as a race issue, when it is not.

Regardless of race or religion, every citizen is offered the same

education and the same
chance of the same job opportunities for the same pay. If they do not

take what is on
offer, that is nobody's fault, it's their choice. If employers start

actively seeking certain
minority group members to artificially boost the figure, that would be

racial discrimination.
Some would call that "positive" discrimination, but tell that to the

person who was rejected
because they were too white.
Any discrimination is discrimination.

It's one thing to think you are being discriminated against, but our

approach simply backs up
the *FALSE* notion that white people are all well educated and rich, while

non-whites have
nothing.
Naturally, when servicing the chip on their shoulder, they will not

consider the question of
which "community" has most of the "corner shops" in this country. Over

the road to me, there
is one of these "corner shops". Some time back, when the previous owner

was moving, the
shop became available. I doubt if any of the "rich, well educated

whities" living here could
have
afforded to buy it... so some "poverty-stricken, poorly educated" Asians

have it.
Why do they have it? Simple, they had the money, know-how and

determination required to
run a local store. Which kind of blows that stereotype theory out of the

window.

If the black Brummies feel that Asians have all the shops, they need to

ask why this is the
case. The Asians did NOT take or steal them, they purchased or set up the

business. Just as
the Asians have equal education and employment rights, so we all have the

same rights to
buy or set up businesses.
It is not the fault of the Asians if the black or white "communities" are

not taking those
opportunities. If they want some black owned businesses, they must buy or

set up such
businesses.
There is the problem that you need to have enough money to start up or buy

the business. For
someone in a poor family, the chance of escaping that poverty has to be

low - you need money to
make money. However, if someone really wants it, they will find a way...

start small, borrow,
form a partnership, etc.
It has never been easier to set up a business for a minimal outlay. As

well as free advice
being available through business advice organisations, the Internet allows

business
opportunities on an international level at a very low cost.
Can you say "Ebay"?

Peter.

Pete, Thanks for a very well balanced and well presented view. If only
people would stop and think about their lives, the things that happen around
them and the choices they "could" make if they got off their backsides and
did something about it instead of continually whining and seeing the
negative things in life their lives and that of the people around them would
be so much better.
Thats for all colours and creeds...
Regards,
Graham
