I want to put up some inexpensive vertical antennas for 20 thru 80
meters. They will be temporary not being there more than 3 years. Would
EMT conduit hold up this long

SURE!

But, EMT is a 'soft' aluminum and will require guying and/or other
support. It is soft so electricians can bend it around corners.

There is also such a thing as aluminum electrical conduit. I am using an 8
foot length as an antenna mast that measures about 1-7/8 OD. There is a
tribander directly above to rotator, a 6 meter 7 element beam at the top,
and a 2 meter 10 element in the middle. It has been up 7 or 8 years, gone
through high winds, and has shown no signs of bending or corrosion. It is
fairly soft, but has thick walls; still, a lot lighter than steel.

Yes there is aluminum rigid conduit made..But it is not cheap.
