Default Broad Spectrum Noise / Buzz 6500 khz - 7100 khz 1025 UTC

Thanks Michael,

Yep just interested in the BUZZ / pulses, the other background noises
were from other sources / frequencies as I scanned from 7100khz down to
6500khz so show how much spectrum was being affected.

I got confirmation from two blokes on the amateur radio forums. Most
like originating from china So who needs the Russian Woodpecker when
China fills bands

I was also provided a link to http://www.iarums-r1.org/ the website of
the Region 1 Intruder Watch. Look like a very intereting site.

Cheers

Thanks. I've posted the file on my site to permit downloading and
saving without needing a ripper:

I presume that only the approx. 10 Hz pulses constitute the signal
under discussion and that all other sounds are QRM.

Has anyone heard HAARP or other atmospheric research RF emissions
for comparison? The P.R.R. of this signal suggests to me some sort
of power transmission (RF pumping of the ionosphere?) or industrial
process rather than conveying intelligence. Or could it be pulse
doppler? Wouldn't O.T.H. radar be using a chirp and a much lower
P.R.R.?

Regards,

Michael
