Default IBM to help build broadband network in power lines

The commentary by some clown at IBM is pretty funny.

"The key innovation introduced in the past few years, Blair said, is
the ability to remotely control the devices fixed to power lines. That
way it can be told to switch frequency when it meets interference."

Someone needs to tell this idiot it is broadband noise and even of you
could switch to different frequency bands how the hell would they know
who was being interfered with? Just change the frequency band and
bother someone else. What a great idea.

You're not reading it properly. They don't care about CAUSING interference.
They want to be able to move it a bit when it RECEIVES (meets [with])
interference.
