My aluminum wheels on my 1996 4-wdrive have been exposed to every bad
corrosive process the elements can come up with, acid raid and road salt
just to mention a couple ... a radio in my home would fair much better;
And, the rims still look excellent!
I love it when someone mentions a non-issue ... however, I do have some
old military equipment in the basement which is aluminum cased. It
would have to be polished and repainted ... was made in the 1940's.
