NO! I can't have a QSO with a no-code ham.
They can't copy CW!!! So, No QSO! Many use "QSO" as a signifier of a "Voice" contact as well, so "why" couldn't you have a "QSO" with a "NO CODE" Tech? Now, if the question were a QSO with one on a band he wasn't licensed to use, then the answer "could" be NO. BUT - if he has a "Control Operator" there with him to allow his use of that band, then by all means - the answer is still "yes". Its all in how it is looked at. Too many people split hairs............ |
