Default Tower Question

Dear Mike (KU4YP):

This is usually an economics question. How much will you pay for the
last 0.5 db of performance?

An alternative that I use is to use coax that has no more than 1 db of
loss at the frequency in use.

With a tower of reasonable height that is over 100 feet away, it is
unlikely that any 213 type coax is good value other than at 80 meters or
below.

For receiving below something like 25 MHz, most any coax is good enough.
