I bought a rotor and controller at a hamfest. It is a Cornel Dublier Electronics H3/CD44 Series 2. The position indicator doesn't move with rotation, the indicator needle is almost full scale and can be moved with the calibration adjustment. I suspect the problem is in the rotor. I need a description of operation, to try and troubleshoot the unit. The function of the 8 connections would help. A schematic would be even better. Thanks, Mike Once you have the schematic you will be able to troubleshoot the problem easily. It is most likely the wirewound pot in the rotator mechanism. I simply cleaned mine for years of continued good operation. Be careful when you open the rotator though -- do it over a baking pan or something with a lip on it as some bearings are likely to fall out. They are easy to set back during reassembly. Irv VE6BP |
