I recently put up an Alpha Delta model DX-LB Plus (160,80,40,20,10M - coax
fed dipole) in an inverted V configuration. The center is up about 60 feet. This antenna did not come with a balun. Would a 1:1 balun provide any 'PRACTICAL' improvement? (It seems to be getting-out just fine without a balun.) Should I: 1 - Don't worry, be happy. 2 - Run right out and install one right now. 3 - Wait until the thing falls down, then put one on. -- Bob D. ND9B |
