Re colitis, otherwise known as 'C Diff', it is one of the most highly contagious diseases of the intestinal system. It occurs when antibiotics are used prior to surgery in which the antibiotic kills the good bacteria in the system, leaving the toxic bacteria to take over, resulting in continual diarreah(sp). I was fortunate to survive it at my agee 88+, for it is quite common for older people in poor health to not survive. I am fortuntate to have been in good health. It took 49 days for me to get rid of the C Diff. Walt Indeed, my 82 year old mother recently had this, at one point the doctor's called me saying she had 12 to 48 hours to live...somehow she pulled a miraculous recovery...still in the hospital and nursing homes on and off for the last 2 months, but now well enough to have surgery she needs tomorow morning. I'm so glad you have recovered. jerry KB2GCG |

It's a hellish situation--I had never been as sick in my life as with this situation. I'm not totally recovered yet, but on the way. I still need a walker to keep my balance when standing or walking, and am still in physical therapy. Walt |

Have you tried to repopulate your intestinal flora by using probotics such as Culturelle http://www.culturelle.com/ or Lyosan's Acidophilus http://www.lyo-san.ca/english/autre.html#lactique ? Have you tried to repopulate your intestinal flora by using probotics such as Culturelle Reminds me of a typical morning QSO on 75 meters SSB !!! (Welcome back Walt. You're the best. I am so glad you are back on your feet.) Let's start talking antennas, yeah! and reflections, SWR, conjugate matching !! You know, like, "Hey, where does my power go once it is reflected back from my antenna, does it burn up my 807's ?" Or, "Hey Walt, I got this horrible 1.2 SWR. How much farther will I reach out if I get it to 1:1?" Rick K2XT |

Hey Walt, I got this
horrible 1.2 SWR. How much farther will I reach out if I get it to 1:1?" 1:1, hail boy, you don't have a clue... I'z got my tenna tuned up so the SWR is 1:0.9 - now that is one beyootiful antenna and it can hear flea fart in antartica... It's so efficient it pulls out more power out of the amplifier than I feed to it... Why, sometimes I have to pull the 220 plug on the amp just to keep it from stalling the generator down at the electric company's power plant... The best part is my electric meter runs backwards when I use the amp... Why, after last years CQWW the power company had to send me a check... I think Mrs. Edison was upset over havin to pay me becuz that check was so tear stained the teller at the bank had to wring it out afore she could cash it... Why the Friendly Candy Company is so amazed at my technical expertiz that Riley, himself, sent me a letter asking me to come to Gettysburg and splain my tenna to them... I think I'm goin to get an award as he said sumpin about certificate action and delusions of grandeur , whatever that is - I think it is some French award like the Trump L'oeil, that they give out over there... Long as I don't have to eat any of them snails, ugh... Anyway Walt, iffn you need some help with your new book give me a shout cuz I got some antenna designs that'll knock ur socks off.,.. denny / k8do |

You just destroyed life time work of that jeanius from XG planet with his Goosian soup morfing into super tenna if you don get my drift. You must have a real comptutor to come up with shtuff like zat. With Razors I was able to hear seals yawning in anktarktika, but flea fart? Man, I take my head off, gotta go back to drowning bord! Yo, Walt, keep laughting and getting better and better!!! Yuri da BUm |
