I have purchased for very little money two identical VHF TV Yagi-Uda
antennas. They have 300 ohm output impedance, 5 elements, wide band. I am thinking to install both on the mast and connect both to a mixer in order to double the output. I’m not an expert in antenna design and therefore I’m asking for some clarifications: 1.. If my supposition is correct, at what vertical distance should I install the two antennas to avoid cross interference? 2.. I assume that to double the signal the cable type and length from the two antennas to the mixer has to be the same. Correct? Thank you very much, Gene |
