Default Equilibrium in free space

An interesting question. Assuming a perfect vacuum
and the entire bottle outside of the event horizon
of the stationary black hole, would the black hole
ever eat the bottle? I suspect the black hole would
collapse space inside the bottle on its way to eating
the bottle.
