reduction. That would take it from "ears bleeding" down to "10 feet from jet engine" level. The article said that even with fingers in the ears, a migraine-like headache is likely. The military has also experimented with high-amplitude infrasound. Hearing protectors don't help a bit, apparently. The results of exposure are unpleasant, to say the least. Biggest drawback seems to be that it's very difficult to shield the operator and other nearby "friendlies" - infrasound is highly nondirectional. A Google search on "military infrasound weapon" turns up some interesting tidbits. -- Dave Platt AE6EO Hosting the Jade Warrior home page: http://www.radagast.org/jade-warrior I do _not_ wish to receive unsolicited commercial email, and I will boycott any company which has the gall to send me such ads! |

So, who said anything about a stun gun?
"Howard" wrote in message Your right Jeppe, instead of using the NON-LETHAL stun gun we should just shoot folks to subdue them. |

Forty plus years ago I worked for a man who subsequently became a monk in an Asian faith. When I knew him he said that all the world's problems are caused by people. He proposed a simple and elegant solution: "Eliminate ALL the people, except me!" Rationale: When there is no one to disagree with me there are no problems. |

Jesus said essentially the same thing in Mark 7. Wonder why so many alleged Christians believe, contrary to what Jesus taught, that a person can be defiled by ingesting something? -- 73, Cecil http://www.qsl.net/w5dxp -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |
