Hello.. I am interested in modeling with 4nec2 a collinear antenna for
869 MHz frequencies, it's use for my security systems. i wright this code in 4nec2 but i don't see the far field GW 1 1 0 0.025 0.919 0 0.025 1 1.e-3 GW 2 1 0 0.025 1 0 0.035 1 1.e-3 GW 3 1 0 0.035 1 0 0.035 1.13 1.e-3 GW 4 1 0 0.035 1.13 0 0.025002 1.13009996 1.e-3 GW 5 1 0 0.025002 1.13009996 0 0.025 1.26 1.e-3 GW 7 1 0 0.035 1.26 0 0.035 1.3899 1.e-3 GW 8 1 0 0.035 1.39 0 0.025 1.39 1.e-3 GW 9 1 0 0.025 1.39 0 0.025 1.476 1.e-3 GE 0 EK EX 0 4 1 0 1 0 GN 2 0 0 0 20 0.0303 FR 0 1 0 0 869 0 Thanks in advance for comments sorry for my English I'm a French student Last edited by nico : March 30th 10 at 09:24 AM |

This means there is a control button you must activate to generate a view of the far field. Perhaps someone who has experience with this package can help you with that specific point. 73's Richard Clark, KB7QHC |

On a quick check; tags: 2, 4, "6", and 8 are 10mm long. As close as possible; all other tags should be segmented in 10mm lengths -- for example tag 1 is 81 mm long and should be segmented as: GW 1 8 0 0.025 0.919 0 0.025 1 1.e-3. Your "GE" card shows "no groundplane. It should be changed to: GE 1 0 0 indicating a ground plane is specified. If you wish to show the far field you must include and "RP" card; for example: RP 0 181 1 1000 -90 90 1.00000 1.00000 Which shows Theta from -90 to 90 degrees at phi = 90 degrees You should also show an "EN" card at the end of your code to indicate program end. Regards, Frank |
