MFJ993 auto tuner balun?

MFJ993 auto tuner balun?

I have ordered an MFJ993 and am wondering if the internal balun will hold up
to barefoot digitial modes. If not, I will homebrew an external balun.
It will be interesting to see how well this unit fares compared to my
venerable Johnson Matchboxes!
