Same reason prices are different at different places on almost
everything. WHATEVER THE MARKET WILL BEAR!

Why is plain salt $1.69 at Kroger and .98 at WalMart?

Why is soda at retail pricing normally 21 cents for 12 ounces at a
store or $2.24 per gallon retail if you look at it that way. But at a
restaurant (who buys it wholesale also, just as the store does) why do
they sell it for over $17.00 per gallon? Any price over 99 cents,
which represents 1000% markup is extortion on soda products!
