Why is it that both in uk.radio.amateur and in rec.radio.amateur.antenna
that
there are a large number of people who complain that the NG is being ruined
by rude remarks, even going so far as to claim that their victims are only
looking
for such abuse in order to justify their own, and yet who produce so much
of the effluent that they themsleves proscribe?

These NG should be for technical discussion or debate, but not for slanging
matches initiated by those whose knowledge is poor.

Let's have technical ideas discussed, and, if you don't agree, then rebuff
with reasoned technical responses, or else follow the old adage that the
fool
is advised to keep his mouth shut.

For example, it is well established in the technical literature at degree
level and
above, that short antennae are poor radiators, which is modelled by the
distribution
of energy being attributed to an apparent radiation resistance of an
extremely low value,
although in actuality there is no resistance in the sense of Ohm's Law!
