I run 4 to 6 inches from nearby metal.

The position of the ladder line as it comes alongside the house and into the shack is currently very close to where the electrical service line comes in. Luckily I am not picking up any power line noise but I wonder how critical is it that I try to keep the ladderline away from the house and particularly conductive items? IF it is critial how far should I try to stand it off? Comments appreciated. 6 inches is what I use for other conductors. But you may not like RF radiation in your house wiring. -- 73, Cecil http://www.qsl.net/w5dxp -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |
