Default MFJ 1797 Vertical Antenna

For some 12 years , I have use a MFJ 1796 Thus cutting one of the verticals wire off 1" inch at the base to help out on 40 meters, But since then had moved and now looking at a (MFJ 1797) antenna. The question is "MFJ 1797 VERTICAL ANTENNA, 7-BAND, 40-10M COMPACT VERTICAL " has anyone know or heard anything about this type of antenna from MFJ ? Good or bad.
