go to rat shack and buy a couple 25' rolls of hookup wire, put one vertical
and the others horizontal. hook the vertical one to the center of the coax
and the horizontal ones to the shield.... voila, instant vertical... trim to
make rig happier as needed.

Is there such an animal? I am going to use this rig totally portable
(beach, backyard, woods, open field) and would like to make or purchase a
tuned vertical for thirty. I will be using it with an oak hills portable
cw rig. What do you think?
