Need advice for RV/Mobile home park antenna

Hello all,

I am perplexed over this installation.

We are running a 746Pro from a 39 ft RV trailer. A higher wind and
lightening prone area firstly. Very tight quarters on this site so I can
only go up. With no room to guy or run radials or conveniently lay down a
big stick. So it either has to mount down on the trailer hitch end or
slide up a pipe framework bracket I have mounted to the front of the
trailer so it extends above the roof line. That would place it at
approximately...

Antenna support ropes

Hello everyone. In advance, thanks again for your help with my problem. My
XYL and I live in snowy, windy NW Ohio. The weather is brutal and
unforgiving on antennas. I currently am using a 144 wire loop for some of
my needs along with an Gap vertical. The loop is held up in four places
with insulators using paracord. No matter the quality of this rope, it
seems to break about 3 times a year. Nylon breaks/stretches even more. Can
anyone suggest a great quality rope that will take Ohios...

Reducing a mast diameter?

I have purchased an mfj 1836 cobweb but Im having trouble mounting it.

The mast ubolts are supposed to accept 1.5" diameter mast. I have a 2 inch
mast already up (a force 12 flagpole vertical). I bought a plumbing adapter
for 2" to 1.5" pipe and a section of 1.5" PVC pipe to get the thing
mounted, but the PVC is still too big for the u bolts.

Does anyone know how to reduce the 2" mast enough to get this thing up in
the air today for arrl DX... The antenna will be permanently roof mounted...
